Beauty Tell us a little about yourself?

We are a tribe of passionate and talented technicians that strive daily to be the best in our industry!

Beauty Did you always want to be a hairstylist?

Absolutely, we have the best career out there! It doesn’t feel like work to us, we love what we do and that shows in our work and our relationships that we have built with our guests! We get to show our creativity every single day, what could be better than that!

Beauty What prompted you to get into hair?

Having the ability to change someone’s appearance and impact their lives in a positive way through creative expression!

Beauty What's the biggest challenge you faced on your road to becoming a Hairstylist?

Facing your fears, the unknown creates fear in all of us. When you are starting out there is still so much to learn and there is a lot of uncertainty. Holding your head high and exuding confidence will help take you a long ways, no matter what stage in your career you are in!

Beauty Where do you find your inspiration?

Fashion, music, architecture, art, social media…. The list could go on and on! We are surrounded by things on a daily basis that we pull inspiration from!

Beauty If I asked your educator one negative and one strength about you what would they be?

A negative might be over analyzing things, sometimes you just have to roll with it and go with your first instinct…. Easier said than done at times!

A positive would be drive and ambition. We are constantly pushing ourselves to grow and learn. We take any opportunity that is put on the table to expose ourselves to new challenges and experiences that will help us become as well rounded and educated as possible!

Beauty What is the toughest and best part of styling hair?

It can be tough to break old habits and open your mind up to trying new approaches, but the best part of styling is if you can allow yourself to do that then you have a tool box full of all sorts of amazing techniques and the possibilities and your success are endless! Education creates knowledge and knowledge is power!

Beauty Whose hair would you love to work on?

It would have been an amazing opportunity and privilege to have been able to work on Elizabeth Arden. She was an incredible woman that was powerful and a force to be reckoned with, her legacy lives on over 100 years later and there is so much to be said for that! She was passionate about what she believed in and would not give up until she accomplished her goals!
