Fashion Week New York Spring Summer 2014: Vera Wang

The silky fabrics in colors of black, white, yellow, blue, and red cascaded down the Vera Wang runway matching the silkiness of the faces of the models.

Models had their skin varying in texture from dewy to matte finish. Makeup was kept very natural and it was hard to tell that models were even wearing foundation, however as natural as the makeup looked contouring of the skin was very apparent. Models looked like the kind of girl who tans, but sits under the shade periodically to only get the right dosage of Vitamin D.

All of the models wore their hair in ponytails placed in the middle of the head with a black stretch headband that circled the circumference of their heads. The ponytail was then tucked under the headband and pulled out just a bit to give the look of half bun half ponytail. Apricot cheeks flushed the models faces along with same skin tone eye shadow. Creating a barely there makeup effect. Some models had body shimmer on their exposed parts of skin like midriff and legs.
